Cameron and Janet's passion for creating block-printed textiles has steered them towards offering furniture upholstered in their own hand block designs - from small nursing chairs to large Chesterfields. For some time, they've been collaborating with Amanda Luddington, a very talented local upholsterer, who is equally passionate about her craft.

Owing to the bespoke nature of each Bonfield piece, all furniture is locally sourced antiques and many are one-off. As well as their curated selection of finished pieces, Cameron and Janet offer to source that special piece of antique furniture you’re envisioning.

Whilst the required amount of fabric is block-printed in the Bonfield workshop on natural, high quality linens - their upholsterer preps the piece in her studio, working in the traditional way. Natural materials including French horsehair, calico and metal tacks are always used; never modern, synthetic ones. Once the block-printed textile is fixed and ironed, it is delivered to their upholsterer so she can complete the job.
