Jonathan Knowles and Yiolanda Christou have been designing and working together since they founded Knowles and Christou in 1992. A hands on approach, a zeal for experimenting plus a hint of stubborness shows clearly in their collection.
Their distinctive furniture, made in their own workshops, is clad in their printed glass or their intaglio gesso finish.
Their fabrics and wallpapers are printed by hand in house, so there are no rules restricting depth of colour, the repeat and the finish.
