A jovial small scale print reminiscent of a mark made by a fountain pen on blotting paper.

Squiggle print was originally discovered as a lining fabric found on an old Library Chair bought by Christopher at one of the Great Country House sales by Sotheby’s in 1989; when the core of the fine furniture collection was auctioned from Thoresby Hall, Nottinghamshire, England.

36 Bourne Street’s printed cottons are simple, economical and versatile. They can be used for upholstery receiving light wear, while also work wonderfully made into loose covers for furniture due to their light weight and washability. Another popular use is for curtains and blinds, as either the linings or the face fabric, plus scatter cushions, lampshades and other interiors accessories.
